Hello Canada.... it's Free Coffee

This contest is now closed. Thanks to all who participated!
This Give Away is for all you Canadians out there braving the fall weather. (If you know a Canadian you'd like this sent to that's OK too....) It's beautiful and crisp out there today and I'm hoping for good Halloween weather for the kids this Friday. How about a nice cup of Pumpkin Spice Tea and a Pumpkin Spice muffin or donut or maybe a soup to knock the chill off. Why didn't they make a pumpkin soup???

If that's not your cup of tea....then make it a coffee....you get the picture......and take a friend that you haven't chatted with in a while along.....it's on me. I'll be sending the winner a $20 gift card from Tim Hortons to help knock the chill off and hopefully spend some time with a friend. Now who wouldn't like some of that???

The Rules

  1. Leave a comment below (on this post) with your favourite Halloween costume that you were when you were a kid or one you'd have liked and you are entered!

  2. You can enter once per day.

  3. Draw closes Saturday November 1/08 at midnight.

  4. Remember to leave an email or link at which you can be reached.

  5. Winner will be chosen using a random number generator, posted and contacted Sunday November 2 and you'll have to respond with an mailing address within 4 days or a new winner will be chosen.

  6. Please use the format of jane(dot)doe(at)hotmail(dot)com when providing an email so you won't get a whole bunch of spam.

  7. Remember this prize will only be sent to a Canadian address.

The best Halloween costume I remember was actually worn by my brother when he was about 11 or 12 - he went as Miss Canada - he wore an old sequined evening gown of my mother's, a wig that was my grandmother's, and my mom "made him up" - he was gorgeous! My dad drove him to the party he was going to & was mortified when while stopped at a light, my brother flirted with the driver of the car in the next lane.

I was once a dinosaur. It was a full body costume that my mom made! Thanks for the great chance to win! chattyhousewife(at)gmail.com

WOOT! I found a fellow Canadian Timmys lover <3

The best halloween costume wasn't on me, but my little brother when he was three. He was dressed up in a little bumble bee costume, complete with transparent wings and clothe stinger XD I was a cow that year, although I gotta admit I made a pretty darn cute cow.

What a genius you are!!! My favorite costume was a ballerina one that I borrowed from a friend.

I love the pumpkin spice tea!!! I was a fat ballerina one year with one of those blow up costumes. I wore it to the night club and won 50 bucks for most unique costume. The following year I was a sumo wrestler.
Thanks,
JB
I think you have my e-mail address already

Finally a contest for us Canadians! I was once a bunny for Halloween. It wasn't the character, but the fact that my Aunt made the costume, that made it so special.

I borrowed an Eatmore costume from my cousin one year, which I wore to the office & handed out miniature Eatmore bars!

Finally a Canadian contest! Thank you! My favourite costume was made of a big old box, it was a washing machine, where the door opened up to my treat bag! Unfortunately I was bad that year and was grounded (!) for Hallowe'en (yes I deserved it). So I never got to wear it. :(

Well, growing up in Canada, I always wanted to wear the princess costumes or Wonder Woman costumes or whatever, but I was always stuck with whatever would fit over me winter jacket because it was always freezing cold on the prairies on Halloween night.

Finally! A Candian based giveaway!

I loved my gingerbread lady costume =) The only decent one with an actually bought costume instead of just a witch hat.

Ohh! A contest FOR Canadians - I just wanna KISS you!! So many of these are "US only" it is a HUGE treat to find one that's Canadian. And for Timmy's - you can hardly get more Canadian than that. Awesome.

My favourite Halloween costume as a kid was a punk chick, complete with ridiculous long blue false eyelashes and a bright blue afro wig, a pair of my mom's gawd-awful 70's platform clogs, and a really ugly crocheted shawl. Makes me laugh now when I picture it, but I remember it being a big hit at my tiny elementary school - which is why I remember it so well.

I AM CANADIAN! (if you readers are too know what I mean!).

Thanks for the giveaway! I have the Hoops and Yoyo jingle "One doughnut a day" running through my head now!

For work last year, I dressed up as a cow, and gave out cups of chocolate milk to my co-workers.

We always had plain costumes, not like today. I remember when I was about 12 I made my own devil costume.

Thanks for a contest just for Canadians! It's so frustrating to see US only contests on blogs out there, so this is much appreciated!

I was Tinkerbell when I was in Kindergarten, I still remember that even though I don't have any pictures.

By the way, I'm running a great contest for Canadians and US on my blog right now, check it out!

another costume i wore recently was a witch with these ugly fake teeth, while handing out candy to the kiddies i took the teeth out of my mouth because they were bugging me. Well i realized later when i couldn't find them i must have accidently given them to some kid while giving them candy!
